Crime and Punishment

Imagen
Crime and Punishment The theme of crime and punishment has been explored throughout history by human law, literature, philosophy and media. It involves not only an illegal act and its consequence, but also profound debates about justice, ethics and human nature. Having conduct that violates the criminal law and affects society, an individual or a group. It may vary according to culture, time and legal context. This implies receiving a penalty sanction for the perpetrator of a crime. The objective may be retribution, rehabilitation, deterrence or social protection. I think that beyond the illegal act, punishment implies understanding the roots of the crime, its effects on the victim, the victimizer and society. To think about punishment is also to think about the justice we want to build.

Critical Thinking and Media Literacy Every day, we are exposed to thousands of messages through social networks, media and digital platforms. Faced with this scenario, critical thinking and media literacy become essential tools to navigate the world with judgment and responsibility. What is critical thinking? It is the ability to analyze, evaluate and question information in a logical and well-founded manner. Critical thinking is not based on blind belief, but on understanding, contrasting and deciding with arguments. What is media literacy? It is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, create and act using different types of media. It involves understanding how media messages are constructed, what interests may be behind them and how they influence our perception of reality. In a world where everyone can publish, but not everyone verifies, thinking critically and understanding the media is more than a skill: it is a necessity.

Forum “Opinion about work” GA3-240202501-AA1-EV031. Hello colleagues,  I share my opinions on the subject of the environment at work. 1. How can you be environmentally friendly at work? I should recycle plastic bottles, cardboard and paper.   Currently the company should buy sustainable technological equipment.   mustn’tleave equipment on when we are not using it. The work modules have to use technological means to avoid the use of printed resources.   2. What kind of incentives could a green company offer to its employees? I think that communicating the company's sustainability goals and objectives is important. I also think establishing a reward if everyone achieves certain challenges such as discounts at the company cafeteria or public mentions. Consider challenges or even games to encourage responsible consumption of resources.            3. In what other ways could companies involve their emp...
